A key reason for VAN’s existence is to better and empower the veteran community abroad- to execute we congregate and collectively advocate for fixed goals.
Our long-term goal is to build awareness of the issues, and needs that are specific to the veteran expatriate population as a means to better access to VA benefits, and to better the livelihood and experience of expatriate veterans
Our first of many campaigns were created in the interest of Gi Bill vets, and the issues they faced with certifying classes at Webster University’s former Thailand campus.
By circulating a Google survey, we created concentrated in the many issues plaguing Gi bill Expatriate veterans; we were able to gather meaningful data.
Though participation was minimal amongst members, the mission was successful in the sense that we were able to identify major issues shared amongst vets surrounding the issues of slow processing times for certifying classes, and other related consensus, such as ways to improve the Gi Bill experience for vets at the WUT campus.
Check out the data we collected on this special interest campaign. If you’re a webster vet and would like access to the form to comment on your experience, email us at elijahkeyshawn647@gmail.com
